GREEK SMALL-SIZED YATAGHAN DAGGER

GREEK DATED 1788

Small-sized yataghan with solid silver handle and scabbard decorated en suite with rococo scroll foliate patterns. The back of the scabbard has text SOLOM 1788 OV. Date seems to be matching with the style of the dagger and decorations. Solom might be the name of the maker or owner. The blade has decoration on the back. Overall small pitting on the blade. Condition of the silver parts is extremely nice.
