ITALIAN M/1833 ‘ALBERTINA’ SWORD

A piedmontese ‘Albertina’ sword M/1833 manufactured c. 1870. A bold and strong-looking model with steel scabbard enriched with brass mounts. The crossguard with a peculiar finger ring. The bright steel blade is etched with eagle symbols. The wide fuller turns into two narrower ones towards the end of the tip. The sword is in nice overall condition with some denting on the silver handle and some slight pitting on the scabbard.
