KRIS DAGGER WITH PIERCED BRASS BLADE

JAVA c. 1900–1950

A distinctive form of a ceremonial or decorative kris dagger with an unusual blade made of brass. The blade is totally pierced and decorated with dragon swirling along the spine. The wooden scabbard is decorated with pierced brass enhanced with red cloth. Small damage on the scabbard wood.
