KRIS DAGGER WITH GOLD AND PRECIOUS STONES

SOUTHEAST ASIA, 19th century

A high-quality kris dagger with beautiful gold-plated handle set with precious stones. The varnished hardwood scabbard is fitted with silver mounts decorated with floral motifs. The high-carbon steel blade is wavy serpentine-shaped. The dagger is in very fine original condition. A few stones in the handle are missing.
