FINNISH M/1919 DRESS KNIFE

FINLAND, c. 1920-1930

A classical Finnish dress knife M/1919 designed by Axel Gallen (Akseli Gallen-Kallela) during the first years of the Finnish independence. This short-bladed model was used mostly by the Finnish NCOS and police officers. The blade shows the Finnish manufacturer markings Hackman & Co. The knife is equipped with a curved black-painted metal scabbard and the original leather strap.

The knife is in good vintage condition with light signs of wear. The extreme tip of the blade is missing.
