An antique Finnish M/1919 military dress knife designed by Akseli Gallen-Kallela in the late 1910s. This model with smooth wooden grip scales, originally black-painted, was used by the crew of the Finnish army. Manufacturer markings (Hackman & Co) on the ricasso. The knife is in good vintage condition with minor signs of wear. The leather belt strap is probably a later replacement.
