VENETIAN 1600s SILVER-HILTED DAGGER

DESCRIPTION
A magnificent antique Venetian dagger manufactured stylistically approximately in 1650–1720 Republic of Venice. The knife is silver-hilted, chiselled finely with enscrolling vines. The crossguard features faces of green men and mythical beasts. The strong carbon steel blade is triangular and tapered evenly toward the tip. The knife comes without a scabbard.

CONDITION
The knife is in beautiful antique condition with minor signs of age and wear. The handle grip part is slightly loose and spins slightly around its axis. The tip of the blade is slightly bent.
