YUGOSLAVIAN M/1924 ‘MAUSER’ KNIFE BAYONET

DESCRIPTION
An original antique M/1924 knife bayonet manufactured by Vojno Tehnicki Zavod Kragujevac, Serbia, for use with the Steyr 7mm M/1912 Mauser Rifle. The handle has a two-part wooden grip and the scabbard is of grey-painted steel. The original leather frog is attached. The ricasso and the scabbard are both stamp-marked by the manufacturer. The handle is numbered ‘1125’ and the scabbard ‘254495’.

CONDITION
The bayonet is in used antique condition with some signs of age and wear. The locking button is working well and the knife fits well in its scabbard. The scabbard however, is missing its ball-shaped tip.
