GERMAN M/1884-98 ‘MAUSER’ KNIFE BAYONET

DESCRIPTION
An original antique M/1884-98 knife bayonet manufactured by E. Pack & Söhne in Solingen, Germany for use with the Mauser Gewehr 98. The handle has a two-part wooden grip and the scabbard is of steel. The ricasso is stamp-marked by the manufacturer and numbered ‘6411 37’. The scabbard has markings ‘445’ and ’42asw’.

CONDITION
The bayonet is in good antique condition with small signs of age and wear. The locking button is working well and the knife fits well in its scabbard.
