FINNISH WWII CROSS OF LIBERTY 2ND CLASS 1941 WITH SWORDS

DESCRIPTION
An original vintage Finnish WWII medal, the 2nd Class Cross of Liberty with Swords (2. luokan Vapaudenristi Miekoin) awarded for merits during the Finnish Continuation War (1941-1944). Total of 1419 examples of this medal were manufactured. The medal, designed by Akseli Gallen-Kallela, is made of white-enameled silver with gilded details. The original red-and-white silk ribbon is attached.

CONDITION
The medal is in good vintage condition with small signs of age and wear. No chips or cracks on the enamel surface.
