FINNISH WWII CROSS OF LIBERTY 4TH CLASS 1941 MOURNING CROSS

DESCRIPTION
An original vintage Finnish WWII medal, the 4th Class Cross of Liberty with Swords with Black Ribbon, the so-called Mourning Cross (4. luokan Vapaudenristi Miekoin Mustalla Nauhalla / Sururisti) awarded to the immediate family of a soldier who was fallen or lost during the Finnish Continuation War (1941-1944). The medal, designed by Akseli Gallen-Kallela, is made of black-oxidized steel with silvered details. The original black silk ribbon is attached.

CONDITION
The medal is in good vintage condition with small signs of age and wear and patinated surface.
