FINNISH INTER-WAR COMMEMORATIVE MEDAL OF THE PEASANT MARCH

DESCRIPTION
An original vintage Finnish inter-war medal, the Commemorative Medal of the Peasant March (Talonpoikaismarssin Muistomitali) awarded by the Lapua Movement (Lapuan Liike) for the attendants of the forementioned demonstration held in 1930 Helsinki, Finland. The medal is made of blackened steel and the text ‘VALTA ISÄNMAALLE – TALONPOIKAISMARSSI 7/7/1930’ is inscribed on it. The original black-and-blue silk ribbon is attached.

CONDITION
The medal is in used vintage condition with small signs of age and wear and patinated surface. The ribbon is rather faded.
