SAUDI ARABIAN SILVER-HILTED JAMBIYA DAGGER

DESCRIPTION
A vintage jambiya dagger manufactured in Arabian peninsula, probably in Saudi Arabia, approximately in the early or mid 20th century. The silver hilt is decorated with rich ornaments and its backside is engraved with some Arabic inscriptions. The curved steel blade is double-edged and it has a central ridge. The knife comes without a scabbard.

CONDITION
The knife is in untouched vintage condition with some signs of age and overall wear. The hilt has some dents and its backside shows some later silver repairs. The blade is slightly bent but firmly attached to the hilt.
