BURMESE DHA HMYAUNG ‘DAHMJAUN’ DAGGER

DESCRIPTION
An antique Burmese dahmjaun (dha hmyaung) dagger manufactured in the 19th century Myanmar. The wooden handle is silver-plated and decorated with silver wiring and yellow and green enamel. The single-edged carbon steel blade has no markings or decorations. The wooden scabbard is silver-plated.

CONDITION
The knife is in untouched antique condition with some signs of age and wear. The top part of the handle is missing its silver mount and the enamel decorations are partly worn.
