A magnificent Caucasian kindjal dagger with walrus bone hilt and beautiful gilded niello silver mounts on the handle and the leather-covered wooden scabbard. The strong steel blade is deeply fullered on the opposite sides to maintain optimal balance. The silver mounts of the scabbard are hallmarked ’84’. The dagger is in very good antique condition.
