GREEK BICHAQ DAGGER FROM CRETE

GREEK DATED 1897

A fine Greek (most probably from the island of Crete) silver-mounted and bone-hilted bichaq dagger. The blade is finely engraved and seems to have date 1897. A thick silver scabbard with floral decorations. Condition is overall very fine. Small chippings on the ears of the handle. A very fine and seldomly seen type of object type.
