FINE HUNTING SWORD BY FAURÉ LE PAGE

A fine steel-mounted straight-bladed hunting hanger decorated with floral patterns etched throughout the blade. The shagreen-covered scabbard is fitted with beautifully etched steel mounts. The handle is finely chiseled depicting two boar heads on the crossguard. The grip is made of ebony and the pommel is surrounded by a laurel band. The blade is marked by the famous manufacturer, Fauré Le Page, Paris. The sword is in excellent antique condition.
