GERMAN 1780s HUNTING SWORD

DESCRIPTION
An antique composite sword featuring a single-cast brass hilt of an unidentified infantry hanger of the late 18th century and a blade of a German type hunting sword. The brass hilt has no markings. The washer is missing. The slightly curved, wide-fullered steel blade is single-edged and beautifully etch-decorated with trophies and hunting sceneries. The sword comes without a scabbard.

CONDITION
The sword is in untouched antique condition with some signs of age and overall wear. The blade shows some pitting and its exreme tip is blunted.
