IMPERIAL RUSSIAN M/1881 DRAGOON OFFICER SABRE

An Imperial Russian M/1881 sabre for a dragoon officer with ebony handle and gilded brass mounts. The nickel-finished steel blade is marked by the Solingen manufacturer. The original leather-covered wooden scabbard with gilded mounts has no markings. The original portepe is attached. The sword is in remarkably good condition with almost all original gilding intact.
