An antique Japanese Samurai mail armour ‘kusari katabira’ made and used during the first part of the 19th century. The steel ring net, reinforced with small steel plates, are woven on a jacket made of hemp fabric. The fabric of the inner lining is dyed blue. The jacket is in good antique condition with small signs of wear.
