PRUSSIAN CAVALRY SABRE M/1811 BLUCHERSABEL

PRUSSIAN 1810s

Named after the famous German military general this sabre was part of the Waterloo battles and was copied from British pattern 1796. Marked with regimental markings A.F.497. Number 606 with small numbers on crossguard and back of the blade. Blade is slighly pitted and shows areas of darker rusty spots. Without scabbard.
