FINNISH WWII TRENCH ART WATCH FERRULE
FINLAND, dated 1943
An untypical trench art pocket watch ferrule made of aluminium and galalite by a Finnish soldier during the Finnish Continuation War (1941-1945). The reverse side is engraved with date and place (6.8.1943 Jyvälahti Uhtua). Plastic was rarely seen in Finnish trench art. Normally only aluminium was used. The ferrule is in good vintage condition.
