STEEL HELMET M/1916 GERMANY

GERMANY c. 1916-1918

A big-sized M16 stahlhelm with small horns. The helmet has an original pickelhaube leather liner with black pillows and the original chinstrap. Remarkably this example must be one of the early assembly series because they have used rivets from a pickelhaube baseplate rather than later square-edged rivets.

An untouched, unrestored example of WWI headgear.
