SWEDISH M/1775 SABRE OF THE SAVOLAX INFANTRY REGIMENT

DESCRIPTION
An antique Swedish sabre M/1775 manufactured in the 1770s Sweden and used by the Savolax Infantry Regiment in Savonia, Finland. The brass handle features a grooved wooden grip with brass binding. The crossguard shows a crown stamp. The curved and widening steel blade has a wide fuller and its last-third is double-edged. The washer is missing. The black leather scabbard is brass-mounted and it comes with two belt rings.

CONDITION
The sword is in good antique condition with some signs of age and overall wear. The lower scabbard mount has few dents. The sword and the scabbard fit well together.
