SYRIAN KARD KNIFE WITH SILVER KOFTGARI WORK

DESCRIPTION
A fine vintage kard knife manufactured in Syria, approximately in the 1930s. The steel handle and scabbard are decorated with fine silver koftgari work with flowers and birds. The unfullered steel blade shows a false damascus pattern. The blade is unsharpened referring to the original decorative use. The scabbard has a red velvet liner.

CONDITION
The knife is in good vintage condition with minor signs of age and wear. The knife fits well in its scabbard.
