A fine samurai sword handguard tsuba signed by Kuni Naga. Kuni Naga was better known as a samurai rather than ad handcrafter but he was keen to make iron work and especially tsubas with mokume-wooden grain-like damascus pattern surfaces. Many collectors call this style as a sword makers tsubas-Zaimei Toko. They feature same grain like the basic blades, mokume. Kuni Naga was living in Edo area close what is Tokyo nowadays.
