JAMBIYA DAGGER WITH ENGRAVED HANDLE

Persian Qajar-period jambiya dagger with nicely engraved steel handle with remains of gold koftgari decoration showing floral patterns and human figures. Blade with two fullers and forte engraved with sceneries of tigers attacking deers. The blade shows patterns of false damascus. Proportionally beautiful and big-sized dagger. Missing scabbard.
