IMPERIAL RUSSIAN DRAGOON SABRE FOR ST. ANNA M1865
Russia / 1865

An imperial russian dragoon honor sabre for St. Anna, M1865. The sabre is of regulation pattern with “for bravery” engraved on both sides of the crossguard. St. Anna’s badge is attached on the pommel. This sabre has a german manufactured blade by G. Grah and a steel scabbard. This sabre model was officially patterned in 1849 and a new regulation came up in 1865 to change the wood-leather scabbard for a steel one.
Overall a very clean sabre in a good condition. The St. Anna badge on the pommel is a replica produced in the 1990s.
