FINNISH WWII EQUIPMENT SET OF A BORDER SCOUT

DESCRIPTION
An original vintage WWII era personal equipment set containing a Soldier’s Book (Sotilaspassi) of a Finnish border scout and his orienteering gear (a map case, paper maps, a compass, and two first-aid kits). The compass is manufactured by Physica Oy in Helsinki, Finland. The first-aid kits are unopened and dated 1939 and 1942. The first marking in the book is dated 1934 and the last one in 1947. The maps cover the areas of Korpiselkä and Oskajärvi in the Northern Karelia and are dated 1940 and 1941.

CONDITION
The set is in good vintage condition with some signs of age and overall wear. The compass is still working.
