DESCRIPTION
A fine antique Balkan bichaq knife manufactured most probably in the 19th century Greece. The yatagan-shaped handle is made of silver and it is embossed with rich floral motifs. The single-edged steel blade is unfullered and unmarked. The wooden scabbard is silver-plated embossed en-suite with the handle. The tip of the scabbard features a head of a beast. The scabbard has a small solid belt loop.
CONDITION
The knife is in beautiful antique condition with minor signs of age and wear. The blade and the handle are very solid and the knife fits tightly and well in its scabbard.
