FINNISH WWII AIR RAID PRECAUTIONS SLEEVE BADGE

DESCRIPTION
A rare and original vintage WWII period Finnish sleeve badge used by the Air Raid Precautions Civil Defence troops (Ilmasuojelujoukkojen hihamerkki). The badge is made of green felt fabric and the abbreviation ‘Is.’ for ‘Ilmasuojelu’ is marked on it.

CONDITION
The badge is in good vintage condition with small signs of age and wear and patinated surface. There are still stitch marks along the edges of the badge from the time when it was attached to the sleeve of the jacket.
