FINNISH WWII CROSS OF LIBERTY 4TH CLASS 1939 WITH SWORDS

DESCRIPTION
An original vintage Finnish WWII medal, the 4th Class Cross of Liberty with Swords (4. luokan Vapaudenristi Miekoin) awarded for merits during the Finnish Winter War (1939-1940). The medal, designed by Akseli Gallen-Kallela, is made of black-lacquered steel with silvered details. The original red-and-white silk ribbon is attached. The ribbon is secured with a safety pin.

CONDITION
The medal is in good vintage condition with small signs of age and wear and patinated surface.
