FINNISH WWII COMMEMORATIVE CROSS OF THE BATTLE OF SUMMA

DESCRIPTION
An original vintage Finnish WWII medal, the Commemorative Cross of the Battle of Summa (Summan Risti). This medal was awarded to those who took part in the Battle of Summa during the Finnish Winter War (1939-1940). The medal is made of blackened copper, finished with a silvered cross. The reverse is numbered “2294”. The original red-white-and-blue silk ribbon is attached.

CONDITION
The medal is in good vintage condition with small signs of age and wear.
