FINNISH M/1928 ‘PYSTYKORVA’ KNIFE BAYONET

DESCRIPTION
An original vintage M/1928 knife bayonet manufactured by Hackman & Co for use with the M/1928 ‘Pystykorva’ Mosin-Nagant rifle used by the Finnish Civil Guard (Suojeluskunta). The handle has a two-part wooden grip and the scabbard is of green-painted steel. The ricasso is stamp-marked by the manufacturer. The handle is marked ‘S’ (for Suojeluskunta) and numbered ‘131046’.

CONDITION
The bayonet is in good vintage condition with small signs of age and wear. The locking button is working well and the knife fits well in its scabbard.
