GERMAN M/1898 ‘MAUSER’ SWORD BAYONET

DESCRIPTION
An original WWI-era antique M/1898 sword bayonet manufactured in Imperial Germany for use with the 8mm Mauser Gewehr 98. The handle has two-part wooden grip and the scabbard is of black leather. The ricasso shows signs of manufacturer stamp but it has unfortunately been grounded off. No other visible markings or stamps.

CONDITION
The bayonet is in good antique condition with some signs of age and wear. The locking button is working well and the knife fits well in its scabbard.
