A vintage WWII German aluminium field canteen covered with pressed ‘coconut’ wood. The rear side is marked by the manufacturer. The canteen is in used vintage condition. The brown bakelite cap is stuck, spinning on empty. The leather cap strap seems to be somewhat later replacement.
