PRUSSIAN M/1811 ‘BLUCHERSABEL’ CAVALRY SABRE
PRUSSIA, 19th century
An original M/1811 ‘Bluchersabel’ with typical leather-covered wooden grip and heavy steel scabbard. Regimental markings shown both on the hilt and the scabbard. This military pattern was named after the famous Prussian field marshal von Blucher who got his fame during the 1815 battle of Waterloo. The sabre is in good, original condition.
