A vintage tribal billao dagger from the region of the Horn of Africa. The facetted dark buffalo horn grip is fitted with brass mounts. The double-edged steel blade is asymmetrical as is typical for the Somali work. The back-stitched decorated leather sheath has a leather belt strap attached.

The dagger is in untouched vintage condition with some signs of wear and damage on the sheath.
