JAMBIYA DAGGER

A vintage Syrian decorative Jambiya dagger, with the handle made of rings of white bone and dark buffalo horn, decorated with pieces of mother of pearl. The curved strong steel blade has two fullers on both sides. The brass-covered wooden scabbard has two metal belt rings attached on the sides. The dagger has probably been made in the 1950s for touristical use. The dagger is in untouched vintage condition, with small damage on the tip of the scabbard and a small piece of horn missing in the lower section of the handle. Some of the handle rings are slightly loose. The knife fits well in its scabbard.
