FINNISH POST-WAR MEDAL OF MERIT OF THE WAR VETERANS (XXV)

DESCRIPTION
An original vintage Finnish post-war medal, the Medal of Merit of the War Veterans (Sotaveteraanien ansiomitali) manufactured probably in the later half of the 20th century. The medal is made of bronze and the text ‘VELJEÄ EI JÄTETÄ’ is inscribed on the reverse. The original white-and-blue silk ribbon is attached. The ribbon is secured with a safety pin and an original metal clasp ‘XXV’ is attached on it.

CONDITION
The medal is in good vintage condition with small signs of age and wear and patinated surface.
