FINNISH WWI COMMEMORATIVE MEDAL OF THE AUNUS EXPEDITION

DESCRIPTION
An original vintage Finnish WWI medal, the Commemorative Medal of the Aunus Expedition (Aunuksen muistomitali). This medal was awarded to those who participated in the Aunus Expedition in 1919 after the Finnish Liberation War (1918). The medal is made of bronze, and the text “EI SANOIN MUTTA TEOIN, AUNUKSEN PUOLESTA 1919” is inscribed on it. The unfavorable symbol on the reverse side has been hidden for the photographs. The original red-and-black silk ribbon is attached.

CONDITION
The medal is in good vintage condition with small signs of age and wear.
