RUSSIAN M/1907 BEBUT KINDJAL DAGGER

DESCRIPTION
An antique Imperial Russian bebut kindjal M/1907 manufactured in 1914 for the WWI Russian army. The steel-framed handle is fitted with wooden grip scales and brass mounts. The lower handle mount is stamp-marked with regimental markings. The double-fullered curved steel blade is double-edged. The blade is marked by the manufacturer and dated 1914. The wooden scabbard is leather-covered and brass-mounted. The upper scabbard mount has some regimental markings.

CONDITION
The sword is in good antique condition with small signs of age and overall wear. The blade shows some pitting and minor dents on the edge. The sword and the scabbard fit quite well together leaving a small gap of 2 mm.
